Services We Provide

Basic Payment Applications

The Basic Payment Scheme is an income support paid to farmers. You are paid per hectare of eligible land used for farming. The payment is not related to the output of the farm - it is based on the eligible hectares of land that you apply on and use and the number of entitlements held by the applicant. You must apply online for the payment once each year. The Basic Payment is the basis of a large proportion of all schemes. BPS under CAP 2023 - 2027 will change to Basic Income Support for Sustainability ( BISS )

Nutrient planning

Soil health is a key component of productive and sustainable agriculture. Managing soil health improves nutrient recycling maximises water infiltrations, reduces erosion and saves money from inputs. We provide soil sampling on your farm and offer advice on nitrogen (N) phosphorus (P) potassium (K) and lime requirements.

Environmental Schemes

Applications will be submitted for clients for the 1st tranche of the Agri Climate Rural Environmental Scheme (ACRES) in October 2022. Acres will replace the existing Glas scheme. Farmers are assisted in choosing the most suitable actions on their farms as well as a results based approach/field scoring. Annual paperwork and surveys will be carried out.

Organics

We assist with the application procedure for those who wish to switch to organic farming. Once applicants have received their organic licence an application is then made to join the Organic Farming Scheme.(OFS) The OFS is a five year scheme run by the DAFM which provides financial assistance to Organic Farmers . Within the next CAP- organic farmers will receive increased payment and participation rates which leaves organics an attractive option to certain farmers.
